Almost everyone is on social media. So, does it make sense your brand to be there too?
Many businesses I talk to say that social media ads gets them a lot junk queries, like people applying for jobs, trying to sell them something, etc. And I ask them, what is the percentage of these queries are people that are genuinely interested in their business? And how many of these queries convert to buying customers?
That’s what’s important. In any channel you invest in, you will be getting junk; some more than others of course.
What’s important obviously is the rerun a channel is giving you.
Another point to consider is when users aren’t looking for your product or service online, then how do you reach them? Or when you have an offer that you want to promote, how do you do that?
Social media is a great medium to reach potential customers. And the best part is that it is dirt cheap. At least for now. So good to benefit from that.
The bottomline is; everyone is on social media so if you promote your brand there, logically you should get business. If you haven’t tried to promote your brand there, give it a try and a find out if it will work for you.
And if you want to test it, drive a significant number of users to your business, and do not test it by driving only a couple of hundred users.
